Pets are welcome at KMH Independent and Assisted Living Residences. Animals bring joy, invite friendship and contribute to a sense of community among KHM residents. Dogs and cats appreciate KMH's outdoor animal courtyard for exercise and sunshine.
Certain restrictions apply to the pet policy and residents must be able to care for the animals on their own. Shot records must also be current. There is no pet deposit or fee required. All breeds welcome without weight restrictions. Pet owners must also present KMH with a form from a veterinarian stating that the pet is not aggressive and has flea prevention. Vaccination records are required each year.
We offer a full range of long-term and short-term healthcare services in our healthcare households and assisted living communities. We also work with a number of agencies that can provide home health and hospice services.
No. This is one of the benefits of living at a continuing care retirement community. Our residents often move to a higher level of care for short-term rehabilitation and then return to their prior residence.
